Candy. Good. Frankenstein Candy Jar? Even better.
Looking for a quick Halloween craft? This is easy to make with a Silhouette Cameo, Mason jar, and your favorite sweets. Perfect for party favors, gifts, or a fun treat on your desk.

Frankenstein is one of my favorite books, so when I saw this guy in Lettering Delight’s Spooky Soiree collection, I just had to make him.

Supplies for Your Frankenstein Candy Jar
- Frankenstein cut file (Spooky Soiree from Lettering Delights)
- Printer & Silhouette Cameo (or your favorite cutting tool)
- 4 oz. Mason jar (short jars are perfect for small treats)
- Glue Dots or double-sided tape
- Scissors
- Raffia, ribbon, or scrap paper
- Candy corn (or swap with homemade fudge or other small treats)
How to Make a Frankenstein Candy Jar
Print and Cut Frankenstein
I sized Frank to about three-quarters of an 8½ × 11-inch sheet of paper. Using my Silhouette Cameo’s print and cut function makes this project fast and precise. The Cameo “reads” those weird lines at the top and bottom corners to know where to cut. Here’s a post where I explain more about print and cut with the Cameo.

The best thing about print and cut is that it simplifies everything. I needed that today because I cut a bunch of burlap in my craft room and I think I’m allergic to it since I had trouble breathing for the rest of the day. I’ll be fine. I just need to cut burlap outside. Anyway, Glue Dots/tape, scissors, raffia/ribbon and/or paper scraps, candy and a jar are all you need besides Frank.

Attach Frank’s Feet
Tape them to the bottom of the Mason jar.
Add the Finishing Touches
Cover the tape with a scrap of paper, then wrap raffia or ribbon around the base.
Fill With Candy
I used candy corn, but you could fill it with white chocolate peanut butter popcorn or marshmallow pretzel popcorn for a fun twist.

Fun Office or Party Idea
If you’re making these for a party or your workplace, add your name or logo to Frankenstein’s shirt. It’s a creative way to personalize your candy jar and people will know exactly who to thank for the sugar rush.
