Simple Spooky Decor for Your Desk – Lettering Delights Exclusive Free Download

Don’t miss the AWESOME Exclusive Lettering Delights Free Download at the end of this post!

Candy. Good.

Frankenstein is one of my favorite books, so when I saw this guy in Lettering Delight’s Spooky Soiree collection, I just had to make him.

Frank is full page worthy.

I sized Frank to fill about 3/4’s of a sheet of 8-1/2 x 11″ paper.  I made this project super simple by using the print and cut function with my Silhouette Cameo.  If you’re not familiar with that, I printed the image on my printer and cut it out using the Cameo.  The Cameo “reads” those weird lines at the top and bottom corners to know where to cut.  Here’s a post where I explain more about print and cut with the Cameo.

A few crafty supplies…and a pound of candy corn.

The best thing about print and cut is that it simplifies everything.  I needed that today because I cut a bunch of burlap in my craft room and I think I’m allergic to it since I had trouble breathing for the rest of the day.  I’ll be fine.  I just need to cut burlap outside.  😉  Anyway, Glue Dots/tape, scissors, raffia/ribbon and/or paper scraps, candy and a jar are all you need besides Frank.

Short Mason jars … I love them!

I used a tiny, cute and useful 4 Oz. Mason jar to hold the candy corn.  I taped Franks feet in place.  Then I covered the tape with a scrap piece of paper and raffia.  What’s nice about using a Mason jar is that you can put the top on the candy when you need to.  (To keep yourself from eating it or to move it from place to place.  LOL!)

Put your name or business logo on Frank’s shirt!

If you work in an office, add your name or business info to Frank’s shirt.  It assures that people will see it!  Plus, then they’ll thank you for the candy by name.  LOL!

Lettering Delights was kind enough to
