Wild Card Cricut Cartridge Help

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season so far!!  I live in Georgia and we had a white Christmas!!  It’s the 1st time since the late 1800’s snow has stuck here on Christmas, so it was quite a wonderful treat for us.

I’ve recently gotten a lot of emails and Facebook PM’s about the Wild Card Cricut cartridge.  I’m sensing a lot of folks have recently gotten this cart.  It is a very tricky one because the sizing on it is CRAZY with a capital C.  Here are some guides that will help you.

Here’s a cutting guide for the Expression using Wild Card:  Wild Card Expression Cutting Guide.

THANK YOU!!! I will have to try this out. I gave up on it because my cards looked like a 6 yr old made them.

  2. Thanks Joy! I haven’t really used this cartridge much (even though I’ve had it since it came out)…Didn’t really have the time to mess with it…I’ll give the cutting guide a whirl!

Happy New Year to you and your Family!

  3. Thanks for this! I have had this cart for a long time now, but haven’t used it much. Now maybe I will get motivated to use it more 🙂

  4. I just got it from Menards on black friday (for $19.95) and have used it for part of a project so far, but I was using a text and used real dial size on, so didn’t notice anything funky. I will definatly check this out before I start with more 🙂 Thanks!

Thank you Joy! I’ve actually skipped this one after reading Cricut.com horror stories!

Also, as usual I’ve clicked, clicked, clicked and ended up reading about your etched wine glasses.

So cool! I made a couple this year as well, for my sister and mom, and you’re absolutely correct about leaving the “goo” on longer than the bottle recommends!

Have a great Nearly New Year Week!

  6. Great buys at Menards!!! This was added but I haven’t tried it yet. I’m sure the chart will be great help. Thanks for sharing.

  7. This will be a BIG help for me. Thank You

  8. Thanks for the help!!

  9. I typed these dimensions on 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ Avery Mailing Labels and stuck them to each page of the booklet. Now when I want to use the Wild Card Cart. the dimensions are right there. Happy New Year!

  10. Thanks so much for the cutting guide. I just received this cartridge in the mail yesterday and will be loading it to my Gypsy. Just a question, how do you do fit to page using the Gypsy?

  11. I, too, have had the cartridge since it came out and I have even taken an online class with it. So I knew about the envelope sizing but having the guide already printed out is perfect! Thanks to both you and Mama C.

  12. Thanks for the guide. I purchased this cart awhile back and tried it out using real size but even that was a pain. I printed the guide to add to the binder but I do like the idea of labels for each page. Love your blog and helpful hints. Happy New Year.

  13. I was ready to rip out my hair with this cartridge. The only way I would get this to work correctly was to use my Gypsy and size it by eyeballing it. This guide really helps! Thanks VERY much for sharing.

Thanks again for the info, I don’t have this cartridge (yet) but I’m sure when I do I will know where to go to get help. Thanks 🙂

  16. I have the create but hope to upgrade to the expression so I can do the envelopes. Not being able to do the envelopes takes some of the fun out of this cart.
