Video: Goo Gone versus UnDu

Do you remember when I created a  “Joy” sticker and stuck it to my first Cricut Expression?  You can click HERE to see those photos and read about that.  That was a neat idea I had, but it did leave a bit of a mess when I decided to remove it.  I recently purchased both Goo Gone and Undu and have never used either before.  So, I decided to make  a video of a showdown between the two.  Watch the video to see which one performed the best!

UPDATE: I THINK GOO GONE WINS FOR SURE ON THIS ROUNDED SURFACE, BUT FOR PAPER CRAFTING I’VE FOUND UN-DU TO BE THE BEST!

STAY TUNED FOR A CRAZY VIDEO TOMORROW (rescheduled for Friday)!!

  1. Great demonstration. I love to see what you think about un-doo's sticker removing abilities. I've heard it will take a sticker or any other item adhered to a scrapbook page off and not leave a mess. Thanks
  2. Joy, I had no idea you were a super-crafter AND an infomercial queen!! Thanks for the video...I need one of these products to take price tags off of glass...ugh.
  3. Joy, I LOVE Undo!! It's so easy to pop that scraper off and either dribble it on or, like you did, use a paper towel and wipe your surface. The scraper is great for peeling off stickers or photos that aren't quite where you want them or you change your mind. It does NOT harm the photos and it drys very quickly.
  4. I've used both of these products for several years, but never tried Goo Gone on my scrapbook pages, so I did my own test and tried both of these products on stickers on scrapbook paper. Both worked well taking off the stickers, but the Goo Gone did not evaporate as well and left the paper circled. The Un-du did not leave a stain on the paper. So I will continue to use Un-du on my scrapbook pages and cards and use Goo Gone for everything else. I also like the scraper thingy on the Un-du.
  5. The Undo is so much better I think. The Goo Gone is greasy and doesn't evaporate like the Undo-does. The Undo also works faster. If it's not a slick surface you have to leave the Goo Gone on for a while for it to work. I have both and use both but the Undo rocks for taking off stickers---especially price tags!! Another "Star" video!!!
  6. i WATCHED YOUR VIDEO i VOTE FOR UNDO-. DOES GOO GONE DRY ON PAPER LEAVING NO STAIN ON THE PAPER- WILL THE STICKER YOU REMOVE STILL STICK ON WHERE EVER YOU PUT IT.- CAN YOU USE IT ON PICTURES? THESE ARE ALL THE QUESTIONS I HAVE ABOUT GOO GONE? I HAVE NEVER USED GOO GONE SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW. DID YOU DO A PAPER TEST ON BOTH?
  7. Loy, I always enjoy your videos. Undo is my favorite for scrapbooking. It really is a different product than Goo Gone. Undo is more about safely removing a sticker and it still being sticky so you can reposition it and that its photo safe. I don't think Goo gone is photo safe and its more about removing the sticky stuff left by stickers. Thanks for all the info and videos you share.
  8. Joy, you absolutely had me in stitches with this! It was great to see this demo. I would be interested in seeing you try out the Undo on something flat - maybe to remove one of these really sticky gooey stickers that stores feel they must torture us with. Also I have a friend who wants to know if Undo would be good to use on the back of some very old photos that were glued into an old photo scrapbook. Any thoughts on that?
  9. Great "showdown." I love Goo Gone for clean-ups, though it is oily. The Undo sounds interesting for sticker removal, especially the evaporation properties. My lingering questions are about nasty chemicals. My showdown: Goo Gone has naptha (lighter fluid). Un-do is rated as highly flammable from the n-Heptane (fuel additive). It appears that Un-Do was banned in CA and perhaps other states, so my vote goes to the Goo. Thanks for the fun video!
  10. I had never seen this cartridge yet, and it looks really neat. Hope everyone has a nice Fall season!
  11. I have used Undu in my scrapbooks for years with no problems! I have removed stickers that slid or photos stuck crooked - with no stains or harmful effects that I can see. With Goo Gone I haven't tried it in my scrapbooks but wasn't thrilled with other non scrapbook uses, so Undu gets my vote! MCF's Mimi
  12. I am a new viewer of your videos, and I absolutely love your enthusiasm! Even your Goo-Gone vs Un-Do was fun.
