Looking for a fun way to package candy this October? These Halloween monster candy favors turn Skittles and other treats into mummies, witches, vampires, and pumpkins with printable toppers you can cut by hand or with a cutting machine.

Why You’ll Love These Candy Favors
These Halloween monster candy favors are quick, colorful, and just spooky enough for kids’ parties, classroom handouts, the office or neighborhood trick-or-treaters. The idea is simple: small bags of candy with monster faces on top. Even better, you can match the candy colors to each monster. (Could be a learning colors game!)

You’re going to love how easy this is. I used the print and cut function with my Silhouette Cameo to create these cute bag toppers.
What You’ll Need
- Small clear cellophane bags
- Assorted colorful candy (Skittles, M&M’s, jellybeans, or anything bright)
- Printable toppers from Silhouette: 65218 (witch), 65216 (pumpkin), 65213 (vampire) and 65215 (mummy)
- Scissors or a Silhouette or Cricut cutting machine
- Double-sided tape, ATG gun or a stapler (Or a tiny stapler, check this out)

Step 1: Fill the Bags
Choose candies that match the monster you’re making:
- Orange for jack-o’-lanterns
- Green for witches
- Purple or dark red for vampires
- Any color mix for mummies
Fill the cellophane bags about halfway so the toppers don’t feel crowded.

Step 2: Add the Toppers
Print the monster toppers, cut them out, and fold them in half. Attach one to each candy bag using double-sided tape or a stapler. I didn’t have a bag that was the right size for what I wanted to do so I simply folded the bag I had in half and taped it using double sided tape. I added the Starburst candy and taped it again so that all the candy fit snugly. It was that simple!
Using a Silhouette or Cricut? These files are perfect for the print-and-cut feature, which saves time if you’re making a big batch.

After folding and taping the cellophane bags I was using, I noticed that it made them rigid enough to stand. That’s how my mummies are able to walk around doing mummy things.

Step 3: Add Fun Labels
For extra charm, label each bag as “Witch Seeds,” “Vampire Seeds,” “Mummy Seeds,” or “Jack O’ Lantern Seeds.” The kids (and I) get a kick out of it, and it makes the favors feel more like a craft than just a bag of candy.

I’m going to grow a vampire for sure. Then I’ll be sleeping in a garlic necklace every night. Hmmm, maybe I should make a Skittles necklace too for some added color and yummy smell.

Knowing some spells could be helpful. Maybe I’ll grow a witch too…but she can’t bring her spider with her. I do look forward to riding her broom around the moon though. Fun!

Yes! Grow a jack o’ lantern! Now you don’t have to carve at all. They just show up that way. Nice!
