MELISSA

I made an A2 size card this week using the A Child’s Year Cart. I thought the little boy and dog was just the perfect image for the sentiment ” Best Buddies” from Joy’s Father & Son Stamps. I cut the image at 3.25 as well as the shadow, the matting is cut at 4.61. I added some faux stitching and brads. I hope you enjoy this weeks card using Joy’s stamps!!

Products Used: Stamps – Joy’s Life Father & Son stamps, Printed Paper – Animal Crackers Stack DCWV, Brown Paper- Bazzil, Lime Green Paper – Paper Stash, Brads – Embellishment Stash, Gel Pen- Gelly Roll, Adhesive- ATG and 2 way Zig, Sticky Doos (Pop Dots) – Paper Studio, Corner Rounders

JIN

I’m Jin and I use Joy’s stamps to make cards with my Cricut and Lettering Delights graphics and SVG. I do not use any Cricut cartridges for my cards (except for the occasional panda from Create-A-Critter).

Today’s card is an extension of my Make-the-Cut for Beginner’s tutorial series. I used a Lettering Delights Doodlebat (DB Hello Cupcake) and imported it into Make-the-Cut and created the layers before cutting it out with my Cricut. The card base was made by welding 2 shadow layers with a rectangle and measures approximately 6.5″x5.5″. The cupcake measures approximately 6″x4.75″ and is the perfect size for Joy’s All Around Sentiments Stamp to be used as the cherry on top! You can use ANY of Joy’s All Around Sentiment stamps for this card. The Happy Birthday stamp will be PERFECT for this card and you can even use the holiday-themed stamps! Just use holiday colors for the cupcake. 😉

KYLE

This week I wanted to created something simple and cute with Joys awesome stamps. I ended up using the Lots of Puns stamp set (Howdy Partner Sentiment). I think my project ended up becoming super cute! You could whip these cards up really quickly if you wanted to do a themed party or just for having on hand!

Recipe: cardstock (craft coloured  8.5″ by 5.5″, embossed white paper 4″ by 5.25″, patterned paper 4″ by 2.5″, scrap light brown paper for sentiment-stamp then cut out with paper trimmer), 3 Birds on Parade Cartridge (bird cut at 3.5″ with shadow), white gel pen, brown ribbon, Lots of Puns Stamp Set (Howdy Partner), brown ink for distressing, adhesive (ATG, Zig 2 way glue pen), paper trimmer.

RUTHIE

“I heart You” comes from the Mother & Daughter stamp set.  They are interchangeable with the Father & Son set too!

TAMMY

I created this super cute “boy” birthday card using three cartridges and two different Joy’s Life Stamp sets. The Woody is from “Toy Story” cart, the fence is from “Wild West” cart and the grass is from the Martha Stewart “seasonal Cakes” cart. The background is a piece of digi paper of a sky with clouds.

The sentiment is two different stamps from Joy’s Life. The Howdy Partner is from the “Lots of Puns” stamp set and the Happy Birthday is from the “Father & Son” stamp set. I really like the way this card turned out and I know for sure that the little boy who will be receiving this card will LOVE it!!

  3. those are really cute and imaginative…really got my “juices” flowing.

BTW, does anyone know where I can get blow-up of character cartridges; i.e., Toy Story, Batman, Superman, etc. I cut out Buzz Lightyear, but putting the parts in their proper place was a challenge, and trying to refer to the little picture in the booklet just doesn’t get it. I wish Cricut would include blow-ups in their booklets or on their website.

  4. Another great Thursday of awesome cards. My son was on my lap when I was looking, and he had his favs. He really liked the birdie, Kyle made and Woody. He likes the cowboy hats! Looking forward to next week. TFS!
