A Quick Get Well Soon Gift

Get Well Soon with this Quick Gift

Did you see the video I recently did about my All Around Sentiments stamps?  You can take a look at it HERE.  The reason I ask is because you might have thought I was crazy when I suggested using the “Yum Yum Yum” and “Get Well Soon” stamps together.  THIS is what I had in mind.  Let’s say you have a sick friend/neighbor. You might want to do something nice, but not have time to boil a whole chicken, you know what I mean?  You can simply wrap a can of soup in some nice paper and add these sentiments.  Then you’re ready to run to your neighbors door and push the soup toward them with a broomstick so you don’t catch whatever they have let them know you hope they feel better.

In the video that I made, I showed you different ways these stamps can be used.  Here I’ve punched out the center of one stamp and interchanged it with another stamp.  I used one of the “big, fat pop dots” that I love, to pop up the center.  (I’m sure that’s not their technical name, but it IS accurate.)  Remember, all you need to make the most of these stamps is a 1″ and a 1-1/2″ circle punch.  You can certainly use the All Around Sentiments stamps without the punches too.

You can dress the can up as much as you’d like, but since this is a quick gift of ready made soup I decided to keep it simple. 😉  Another idea is to create a whole get well basket including crackers, lip balm, tissues and a fun movie.

P.S. Don’t forget to either tell the person or make a little note stating what kind of soup it is, or you’ll experience what I did when Benjamin didn’t know what the hot chocolate directions were in this gift. 😉

Come back tomorrow for Design Team Thursday!!
