How fun is this spooky card? So fun! I created it with the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge.
This card is found on page 44 in the Artfully Sent booklet. I’m using Core’dinations Neutrals and Brights for the black and green sandable paper. The yellow glitter cardstock is from Core’dinations Glitter Silk cardstock.
I cut out both pieces at 7″. They go together very easily. I just glued the moon and bats inside the haunted house piece. Ta da! A card!
I decided to add a piece of yellow glitter cardstock behind the moon to give it a nice glow. Next, I used Stickles to bling up the bats. I thought they needed a bit of sparkle. Check out the cool texture of the Core’dinations paper! I sanded it to give it that look.
I used Versamark and black super fine embossing powder to create the “Happy Halloween” sentiment on the inside of the card. The stamp set is “Just to Say” by Close to my Heart. Right now you can get it when you order the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. If you order Artfully Sent from Melanie by October 1, you could also win up to $1200 in stamps, cardstock, patterned paper, acrylic blocks and ink!
I cut black rhinestone bling so that it resembled dark, wispy clouds on my card.
I hope you enjoyed this project! If you need any Close to My Heart products, consider buying from Melanie! She’s a great consultant!
Disclosure: The stamps and cartridge used in this post were sent to me by CTMH consultant, Melanie Brown.
Joy,
I love this card, it is just spooktacular and bootiful…sorry, had to do it. Love, love, love Core’dinations paper, use it all the time. Question: What blade depth and pressure did you set your Expression to? I always have a hard time when cutting intricate pieces, don’t know whether to change the blade depth or the pressure.
