This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fresh Step Lightweight Extreme Litter. All opinions are 100% mine.
This is my friend, Domino. Our family adopted him from the Humane Society nine years ago. I think he loves having his picture taken, don’t you?
In the photo on the left you can see Domino scoping out the dog situation. If our dog is elsewhere, Domino can trot down the stairs at a reasonable pace. If our dog is nearby, a standoff and stare contest ensue. They get along during ceasefire times, like drinking at a water bowl, nap time and when Domino is in his cat box doing his personal business.
Speaking of Domino’s personal business, we’re trying out Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme Litter. It’s 30% lighter which makes it easier to lift, carry and pour but it still provides odor control, absorption and the clumping performance that Domino needs. It’s also got the strongest odor control by a lightweight litter. It’s available at Target. I’ll let you know in an upcoming post what we all think about it!
I like that they put the Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme Litter on a scale to show how much lighter it is. I was actually standing there at the endcap saying, “Oh, that’s so cute!”, which is fine if you’re with someone else but I was shopping by myself that day…and totally talking out loud. Still, it is cute! (Next time I’m talking to myself in Target, I’ll pretend to be on the phone. LOL!)
We’ve always used Fresh Step® in Domino’s litter box. Of everything we’ve tried over the years, it’s worked the best for us. I’m interested to see how well the Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme Litter works.
Stay tuned for my review of the Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme Litter coming soon! (Domino’s shocked that I keep talking about his personal litter business.) LOL!
Joy…DOMINO is just so photogenic and is absolutely adorable! I’ve wondered about that lighter liter– so I’ll be eager to hear how you like it!
(And I may have talked out loud to myself a time or two at a store also, so don’t feel embarrassed!)
Hey Teresa, I just posted my review here: https://joyslife.com/fresh-step-lightweight-extreme-litter-review/ I gave it a thumbs up! 🙂 Thank you for the talking out loud reassurance! 😉
Domino is a very handsome dude indeed!
I used to use the regular Fresh Step, but found it too dusty. I would be very interested in your comments about their new Lightweight Extreme version. Currently, I use Cat’s Pride Fresh and Light litter for my seven (!) cats. It has been working out pretty good for my brood.
What kind of camera do you use Mizz Joy? You always take great pics!
Hi Kathleen!
Domino thanks you for the compliment! 🙂 Now he won’t stop looking at himself in the mirror. LOL!
I just posted my review https://joyslife.com/fresh-step-lightweight-extreme-litter-review/ and I’ll tell ya, I didn’t notice a dust problem at all. My husband always takes care of the boxes but I wanted to check out the dust issue myself so I poured some into the boxes myself and didn’t get any dust cloud at all. Yay!
I recently purchased a Canon EOS 70D and I LOVE IT! Before that I had used a Canon Rebel T2i for about 2 years. It was great too! Thank you! 🙂
Oh my gosh Joy, talk about runway model type. He just struts his stuff doesn’t he? “Look at me, I’m so handsome.” I love the tongue picture. He is just too much.
Yes! He has cat-ti-tude! LOL! 😉
