I love to make cupcake things!

I made this for someone special and I really like the way it turned out.  It was the first time I’ve used anything from the “From My Kitchen” Cricut cartridge.  I just had to have that cart but I don’t find myself using it very much.  However, this adorable cuppie cake was on there, so I just had to use it!

Prepare to be amazed…the only glitter paper I used was for the white icing part of the cupcake.  The rest is regular cardstock that I covered with Stickles!!  I just love Stickles, don’t you?  If you don’t know what Stickles are click HERE for my post about them.

The heart is from a punch that I have and the “Birthday Wishes” sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink.com’s Mega Mixed Messages set.  I embossed the icing with the Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder and the bottom of the cupcake with Cuttlebug folder D’vine Swirl.

To make the “Happy Birthday” pink background image I inked the Cuttlebug “Happy Birthday” embossing folder with Stampin’ Up’s Pink Passion Classic ink pad and ran it through my Big Shot.  Click here to learn more about how to do that from a previous post.

Such a cute card!!!  I want to share with you the Thanksgiving invitations that I made, but I haven’t given them out yet so I have to wait.  Hopefully, I’ll give them all out today.

Have a GREAT DAY!!
