Cricut Christmas Vinyl Angel 12 Days of Christmas DAY FIVE GIVE AWAY

I decided to angel up my back door with some vinyl.

I love using vinyl!  It’s such a nice way to make temporary (or permanent) changes to your home, car, belongings, etc.  Do you heart my “nice” sign?  It says “naughty” on the other side! Here’s a link to the post where I made it.

There’s no place like gnome.

Do you love that elf/gnome?  I made him out of vinyl using the Freshly Picked Cricut cartridge and layering vinyl.  His nose is made of pink Stickles.  I enjoy decorating my Cricut each season.  Last month it was decorated for Thanksgiving (click here to see that) and the month before it was decked out for Halloween (click here for that one).

Using the Christmas Cricut solutions cartridge, I used my Gypsy to make the angel as large as I could for 12×24″ vinyl.  I made 2 of them and flipped one of the angels so it would look right on either side of my door.

Make sure you have enough clearance space for the 12×24 mat to move around.  See how far it goes out the back?  It’s long!

I know it’s hard to tell in this photo, but all the vinyl has been cut.  Now to do the weeding.  That’s where I take away all the pieces of vinyl I don’t want to use.

I used the Christmas Cricut Solutions Cartridge for the Angels.

Now that the angel is weeded I will cover it with transfer tape, line it up on my wall and apply the vinyl to the wall.  You can learn all about how to do this in my Cricut Vinylology DVD.

Here’s one of the angels applied to the wall.

My family loves the way this looks.  I’m so glad they are enjoying it!
