Cricut Imagine Printable Vinyl Owl Clipboard 12 Days of Christmas DAY FOUR GIVE AWAY

This is part of a clipboard I decorated with printable vinyl & my Imagine!

I had a great time making a fun and useful creation for my youngest son’s teacher using printable vinyl.

Why, Hello Mr. Frosty!  Meet Winter Frolic.  I think you might be made for each other.

I used the owl from Winter Frolic and patterns from Mr. Frosty to create a fun textured owl creation using my Cricut Imagine and printable vinyl.

I’m still trying to get used to settings on my Imagine, so I cut the vinyl deeper than I meant to.  It didn’t hurt anything.  One thing that is nice about this printable vinyl is that the backing is easy to peel off.

I bought this clipboard for about $2 at WalMart right after school started.  I don’t know if they still have them in stock, but I also found some in various colors at Staples yesterday. 🙂  In this photo I’ve laid down all the pieces, but haven’t attached them yet.

The shadow of the owl is a yellow pattern, but it’s hard to see in this photo.  I colored the 2nd layer brown using a standard color from my Cricut Imagine.

PRETTY!!  That’s all made using printable vinyl and my Cricut Imagine.  SO COOL!  I also added Stickles to the beak, feet and top of the toboggan.

Guess what?  There are some standard shapes that are part of the Cricut Imagine’s brain.  One of the shapes is a Christmas tree.  I filled it with a pattern from Mr. Frosty.  The swirly thing underneath it is a shape from Winter Frolic.

All of the ribbon I used came from Hobby Lobby. 😀  I realized that I don’t have much green ribbon.  Looks like another trip to Hobby Lobby is in store for me.  WOO HOO!  (Any ole’ excuse will do, won’t it?  LOL!)

All Done!  One cute clipboard finished and ready for gift giving!  You know what I should do?  I should make a matching pen to go with it.  Do you remember when I did that before?  Click HERE to see the clipboard and matching pen I made a while ago.
