Here’s a quick little tabbed card made using the Paisley Cricut cartridge.
DS#1 had a b’day party to go to. Mom to the rescue. 😉 I made a T-shirt, which I’ll show you another day and this “cute” little card. IDK, is it “cute” if it has skulls all over it? The jury is still out on that.
The paper is from Stampin’ Up and is retired (sorry about that). Everything cut is from the Paisley cart. I used the card from page 65 and the musical notes from page 62. I cut the card at 4-1/4″. You’ll need to score the card using a scorer or bone folder, but once you’ve got those lines folding neatly the little tab holds the card closed very nicely. I ran the musical notes through my Xyron with the top side down so it would get all sticky. Then I poured some black glitter by Doodlebug Design all over it. It turned out looking all “jazz hands”. LOL (I mean fancy.) 😉 I popped up the musical notes with some really thick and large pop dots.
Now I’m off to package all this up so it looks cute, but still boy like. I’m happy I could find a boyish theme and still use the Paisley cart…’cause it’s sorta girly, I think. 😉
