Elf & Santa Water Bottles – Glue Dots Blog Hop

The holidays are approaching and that means that you’re probably going to need a few quick to make and inexpensive gifts to give.  Here’s a super easy and wallet friendly idea!

I purchased these water bottles at the Dollar Store during the summer.  They were $1 each.  YAY TWO DOLLARS for TWO GIFTS!!  If you can’t find these bottles you can dress up regular water bottles.

I decided to make Santa’s belt bigger than the elf belt.

Using black, white and gold or yellow paper simply cut the black paper into strips to fit around the water bottles, the yellow into rectangles and punch some circles out of the white.  Make two cuts on opposite ends of the yellow rectangle so the black belt piece can fit through it.  This is your buckle.  Using Glue Dots, simply adhere the pieces to the water bottles.  Simple as pie!

I used leftover paper scraps and Glue Dots that I had on hand.  The total cost for these two gifts (without tax) was $2.  With that savings you have enough to add a gift card!  Woo hoo!
