What a “Deer” Card by Joy’s Life Featured Designer – Jana Terpstra

What a great card Jana made using the “Furever Friends” stamp from my “Lots of Pun” stamp set!  Isn’t this just the sweetest card?  It makes me want to take a nature walk.  Super Sweet work Jana!!

A Note from Super Jana and How She Made this Card:

Hello Everyone, I'm so honored to be a part of Joy's life featured designers for her "Lots of Pun"  stamp set.
This card was cut at 8.5 x 11 and scored at 4.25 to make a standard A2 card. I added two layers. The first in Stampin' Up chocolate brown cut at 5 3/8 x 4 1/8. The top layer was cut at 5.25 x 3 7/8.  Sorry I don't have the name of the green paper, it was in my stash. Using the Cricut Create a Critter cartridge, I cut the tree at 3 inches out of Stampin' Up green galore and gable green card stock. The deer were cut at 1.5 inches also cut from unknown card stock. I outlined the tree and deer in Jelly-roll star pens too add some interest. I used pop dots to add some dimensions to both the deer and trees. The double bow is made with fine twine. I finished the front with the Furever Friend stamp from Joy's "Lots of Pun" stamp set. I also finished the inside of the card using the same paper as the layers on the front, only in reverse order.

Thank You Jana!!  That Card is so “Deer” to me!!

  1. Super cute, we just went to Cades Cove and I got lots of good pictures of the deer there. I Think I will use this idea to make a scrapbook page. Thanks for the idea.
