Dorm rooms on the brain again here at back-to-school central! 😉  My daughter was telling me that Glue Dots will stick to the concrete block walls she has in her dorm and that a lot of people use them for sticking up cork tiles for quick notes.  Cool!  That made me want to try creating a pretty one using Glue Dots and a few inexpensive things.
Want to make one?  You’ll need: Glue Dots® Pop Up and Craft Glue Dots®, a cork tile, paper flowers, paper doily and buttons.
Here’s how to make it:
1. Bend the doily over the top of the cork tile and adhere with Craft Glue Dots® to the back and front of the tile.
2. Using Craft Glue Dots® layer flowers and buttons over the doily.
3. Once you’ve decorated your tile to fit your style, add Glue Dots® Pop Up dots to the back of the tile.
Great! A pretty place for important notes. Â Hey, that was easy!
I wrote this post while on the Glue Dots Design Team.
Wow, this couldn’t have come at a better time. I just finished my new craft room and had a set of four of the same cork boards. I was wondering what I should do to jazz them up. Thanks, Joy!
Hi Becki!
I’m thrilled that this was so timely for you! You should definitely try this. It was fun to do and I was so impressed with how quickly it came together and actually looked like something! LOL! 😉 Congrats on your new craft room! Woo hoo!
Hugs!
