St. Patrick’s Day Leprechaun Photo Frame

One easy way to quickly decorate for a holiday is to use an inexpensive frame and add themed cutouts to it.  Want to save a bit of money?  Use the same frame over and over and just theme it for each occasion that you want to celebrate.

Here’s what I used to create this St. Patrick’s Day themed frame.
SuppliesGlue Dots 1/2-Inch Craft Dots, themed St. Patrick’s Day cutouts, a frame, scrapbook paper to fit frame and twine.

I used my Silhouette Cameo and images from Lettering Delights “Luck of the Irish” cut-it set along with my printer to create these cute St. Patrick’s Day cutouts.  You can use die cut images or whatever you have.  Do you have some cute scrapbook paper?  Consider cutting out images from those sheets of paper.

Add twine to the sides of your frame by adhering a Glue Dot® to the frame. Next, add twine and then another Glue Dot®.
Place a cute paper cutout over the exposed Glue Dot® to hide the twine ends.

Repeat the process on the other side of your frame. Now you have a little clothesline effect with your twine.

Adhere Glue Dots® to the backs of more themed images and stick them to the twine and frame.

Now you’re ready to add a photo and display your great creation!

I wrote this blog post while participating on the Glue Dots® design team.

Irish you a crafty day!  LOL!

This is adorable! I like the idea of changing out the themes on the frame according to holiday or occasion. I still have not had time to start using my Cameo, but I am dying to use some of the files I have purchased from LD.
