Land of the Free Cricut Card – Stand & Salute

I think the Stand & Salute cartridge is great.

A sweet lady hired me to make a card for a soldier serving in Iraq and this is what I came up with.Β  All of the images are from Stand & Salute.Β  I used gray glitter cardstock to create the dog tags.Β  Then, I printed “Thanks to You” from my printer directly on to vellum.Β  I glued the vellum onto the dog tags using Zip Dry.Β  I might try a different adhesive to adhere the vellum to the glitter card stock next time.Β  I think it might not be the best choice.Β  I saw some bubbles and some cracking in another item I did the same way and have some concerns about my choice.Β  However, I really love the way this card turned out.Β  I would ink the “Land of the Free” differently too because it’s a little too dark to read.Β  Oh, well.Β  I still like it!!

I should have posted this on Veterans Day, huh?!!
