Land of the Free Cricut Card – Stand & Salute

I think the Stand & Salute cartridge is great.
A sweet lady hired me to make a card for a soldier serving in Iraq and this is what I came up with. All of the images are from Stand & Salute. I used gray glitter cardstock to create the dog tags. Then, I printed “Thanks to You” from my printer directly on to vellum. I glued the vellum onto the dog tags using Zip Dry. I might try a different adhesive to adhere the vellum to the glitter card stock next time. I think it might not be the best choice. I saw some bubbles and some cracking in another item I did the same way and have some concerns about my choice. However, I really love the way this card turned out. I would ink the “Land of the Free” differently too because it’s a little too dark to read. Oh, well. I still like it!!
