I think I’ve found the perfect appetizer. Seriously. This recipe is so easy and so good that the reason I’ve got bread in the skillet of this delicious dip is to cover up the hole where we started eating it the second it was ready. True story. I’m planning on sharing this recipe with my in-laws on Christmas while we wait on dinner to cook. I think they are going to love it and that you will too.
You only need 4 ingredients to make this. Does that blow your mind? I can tell you that I truly appreciated it because I had a lot of holiday things going on and it was ready so fast.
You simply add one cup of KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise to a 14 oz. can of chopped, drained artichoke hearts.
Add one cup of KRAFT Parmesan cheese.
Add a clove of minced garlic and mix.
Spread the mixture and bake at 350 for 20 – 25 minutes. Isn’t that fast and easy? I knew you’d think so!

Notes
This recipe is from the Kraft website. They used a cast iron skillet for serving, which I thought was a great idea so when I made mine, I did the same thing.
Isn’t this a pretty dish? I’m serving it with sliced toasted french bread.
Yum Yum Yum!
Well, that’s how much we ate before I covered it up with some bread slices. Just keepin’ it real! How could I be expected to not eat something that good until a photo was taken? I couldn’t. Neither could my husband. He came by and scooped more out. It’s really that good!
I served this with sliced, toasted French bread but also ate it with pita chips. What else would you serve it with?
This looks so yummy!! I have going to have to make this for New Year’s Eve, thanks!
I can’t believe 4 ingredients can look so good!
I would try it with those thin pretzel chips. Looks yummy. I need to get a cast iron skillet for my kitchen 🙂
I like it with veggies, too – carrots and sugar snap peas and even broccoli. And of course pretzel chips. Mmmm pretzel chips! Yum!
When you say “cook”, do you mean bake? What temperature?
Hi Terri,
Yes, bake at 350 for 20 – 25 minutes. Thanks for your comment. I changed the post to reflect that info. You can also find the full printable recipe at KRAFT.
I am so excited to try this. I’m trying to get my husband to run to the store for artichokes, but he’s not budging. I guess I’ll have to wait until tomorrow, lol
Looks like a tasty dip!
That looks amazing!! I need to make it pronto! Yumm. Thank you!
Oh my goodness! I love this dip! Thanks so much for the recipe. Pinning and sharing everywhere!
I would love for you to share this post {and others} at my Show Me Saturday linky party! Our next party will be this first Saturday of the new year. Hope to see you there!

I love that this only has 4 ingredients. Quick and easy! Looks delicious.
Not only is it fast and easy, but it looks fantastic! I can’t wait to make this on the 26th for family.
This dip sounds sooooo good! And your kitchen is gorgeous!
This is awesome. I can do four ingredients! Will be making this for sure!
I make this dip often, and it always disappears QUICKLY!! The recipe I use calls for some chopped green chiles added (like 1/2 of a small 4 oz. can). I have never added garlic, but might have to try that. I usually serve with breadsticks or triscuits… SO good. Any cracker or bread would work. Crusty rolls or baguette slices… mmm, I’m hungry!
Thank you!!! I don’t even like artichokes but have tasted dip before and liked it.. This looks yummy.. I bought the artichokes yesterday and I think I will make it today or tomorrow.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.. Thanks for all you share!!! LisaMH
I make a similar dip, but instead of the garlic, I add 8 oz of softened cream cheese. I also bake a bit longer (40 minutes) as i like it to brown a bit more on top! It is a family favorite!
Are the artichokes marinated or just in water?????
Hi Linda,
I chose artichokes that were in water. 🙂
How would you adjust the recipe for FRESH artichoke? Boil artichoke first maybe?
Hi Alea,
I haven’t cooked a fresh artichoke before but I did a quick search and found out how right here! 🙂 I bet it’s delicious, even though it definitely takes longer. If you decided to go with canned artichoke, I found them in the aisle with pasta sauce.
Happy cooking!
Going to try this new years eve sounds good and easy thank you so much……yummy….
Can you add frozen chopped spinach?
I’m sure you could add chopped spinach, just make sure to drain it well first. 😉
I make this also, I add Half a Cup of crab meat. It is so good.
Sounds great, have made one similar adding chopped or diced green chilies and shredded cheddar cheese, always a hit around the holidays.
I have made it with chopped spinach (drain well) it is delicious
Could this be made in one of those mini crockpots? I need a dip for a quilt retreat & this sounds delicious. Thanks.
I’m not sure about that Vicki. I’ve only put it in the oven. Probably? Um…I think I’d try that at home before taking it on the retreat. I’m not positive. 😉
mm I absolutely love Hot Artichoke Dip. This one is so easy to make too.
Can you leave out the cheese?
I’m not sure about that, Mary. Let me know if you try it. 🙂
