Thanks so much, Joy, for this video showing embossing with metal. I’ve been wanting to try this. Your project is so fun! I really didn’t think you could cut the metal in your Cricut, but you showed me it’s okay. What a wonderful giveaway!

At the end of October, I will pick 5 winners who’ve left a comment on any non-give away post on Joy’s Life during the month of October. Those 5 winners will win some crafty surprises. So, you can leave a comment on all the give away posts AND on non Give Away posts and still have a chance to win!

  8. I love this technique on the Cricut. Have you found a way to attach the metal to the front of a card without being dangerously sharp? So far I though about a cut out envelope type holder but nothing else. Thanks for sharing.

  17. I just read and looked at this embossing project a few seconds ago, I didn’t even know this kit even existed! I’m sooo exited about all the projects that have flooded my brain! Overload-yipes! 18. Don’t remember where I saw this, but another Cricut user who embosses says to save your old blades. You can put them in your holder blade side first and use the other end as an embosser.

I tried it and it works very well.

  19. you know what, I think it was “you” who’s video I saw…as I was scrolling some of your craft projects, I came across the one about turning the blade around.
