My Memories Digital Scrapbook – GIVE AWAY

My Memories gave me a copy of their My Memories Suite digital scrapbooking software to try out.  I had a good time quickly making a few pages!  Guess what?  They also gave me a copy to give away to one of you!  Woo hoo!  If you’d like to go ahead and buy your own, be sure to use this coupon to get $10 off. That is “suite”! LOL!

These are my boys in 2008.

The page above I created all by my little self.  I used some of these things from the My Memories scrapbook software to create this page:

Background Papers – Worn Paper Pack – Brown
Embellishments – Designer Embelishments – Christmas
Holiday Simplicity – Flouishes

I added frames to the photos and all the text.

Vampire chases Iron Man.

I downloaded this completed page.  It was part of a freebie they’re doing this month on their Facebook page.  All I did was add in the photo, send it to the back of the page and add text at the bottom.  They have other ready made pages and templates to chose from.  Using a pre made template makes scrapbooking go really fast.

I sprayed my sons hair black using temporary hair color spray.

Adding the photo to this ready-made page took seconds.  I wasn’t able to find a way to alter this freebie ready made page, but it was quickly completed.  I’m sure you could add things to it though. Frankly, I am so behind on scrapping any of my 3 kids photos I need all the quick pages I can get.  I should have used a photo of my daughter on this page, but I wanted to show you different options using the same group of photos.

It's my baby's birthday!

I thought I’d assemble a page of photos of my baby when he was more of a baby. 😉  Today he is turning 12!  I quickly made this page using the “All About Funk” template.  You can make tons of changes to this template.  It looked a little different before I got a hold of it.  See the screenshot below.

Actual screen shot from my computer.

This is how the page above looked before I added photos, moved some things around and even added a paper strip from the Princess Diva embellishments!

I had fun using this software.  I’m going to browse around their store and see what else I can get in to.  LOL!

Give it away – give it away – give it away now!

Here’s what I want you to do. 😉  Zip over to My Memories.com and take a look at their digital layouts or paper packs and leave me a comment telling me which one you would choose.  I’ll pick a winner for a copy of the My Memories Digital Scrapbook Suite software on Friday, Oct 15 and will list the winner on this post.  Have fun looking at all the designs!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNER:

I need this! I need this! This is EXACTLY what I was going to get into. I was going to say I’d definitely pick the Happy Halloween pack because I’m obsessed with Halloween and will surely have a lot of costume photos needing to be put up in some quick pages, but then I saw the Head in the Clouds pack and have to have it. I love cutesy owls!

Don’t forget! If you decide to purchase the software, use this $10 off code! STMMMS92074

I don’t have any digital software and I prefer the feel of paper in my hands. I went to the website and knew instantly I was in trouble! lol! I only went through about 10 pages and found 8 that would fill me needs – at least for the moment! Christmas Snow, Sea Fan, Fun Dots, Patriotic and Vintage Americana (those would go perfectly in my son’s Air Force scrapbook!), Black2Basics Embossed, Purple Heart and Delightful Easter are the ones that grabbed my attention!! Any of those would be perfect.

Thanks for sharing your ideas, techniques and your awesome giveaways!!!

  8. I love the Starry Starry Night Tags! 🙂 Super cute!

Your LOs are so cute! There are so many wonderful kits to choose from — you must be kidding that we have to pick a favorite. There are too many for me to choose just one — Hearthsong really stuck with me, but so did so many of the Fall and Autumn collections — it must be because we’re entering into that mindset with the leaves changing. Thanks so much for the chance to win this wonderful product!

  10. Oh WOW! Your Digital LO’s Look Fabulous! I really like the background of the first picture…. I really like using digital programs… it makes crafting quick when it needs to be! 🙂 Would love to win this software to try out and maybe create some great projects with it too! 😉

  11. The first one that caught my eye was “All Boy” because I have such hard time putting together boy pages in any medium. thanks for the great site and give away. lala

  12. I currently do not have a digital scrap-booking program at all but have been comparing several before I “take the plunge” – but I haven’t “jumped in” yet. This one looks great and easy to use! As for picking a favorite digi layout or paper pack – I’d love to try any of them! I’d be interested to know, in your opinion, how it compares to the Creative Memories one – pros/cons, etc. But the bottom line is I’d love to win it! Thanks for all your creative inspiration and another great give-away!

  17. Joy, you make this sound so easy! I’m just lucky I can check my email, Facebook and all the fabulous blogs I follow 🙂 Your sons’ are a couple of cuties.

  18. I haven’t started digital scrapbooking, but this may be enough to push me over the edge. I found something I liked on every page. Golden Days, then the Simply Leaves, Hearthsong, Mr. Fix It, Head in the Clouds, Ocean Jewels………

My question – How, where or what do you use to get 12 x 12 printed pages?

    1. Emhibb,
That’s an excellent question. I haven’t yet printed 12×12’s, but I know it can be done at Archiver’s and through online photo shops like Snapfish. 🙂

  19. I love “Follow Your Dreams” (something I would love to do!!!). I have wanted to try digital scrapbooking for some time. It would be great to win-like a jump start for me.

  20. WOW! They look AWESOME! The graphics are quite dimensional, Joy! My Memories also gave me the free software, but I’m having a hard time getting the program to launch. I’ve tried everything and tomorrow I will have to call Tech Support. Have you had any problems with launching the program? SO FRUSTRATING! LOVE your layouts!

  21. Wow, what an awesome site! Thanks for leading me that direction. But I have a question…if I do a digital scrapbook do I have them print the pages out and attach them to my scrapbook pages or does everyone just keep them electronically? Crazy question, huh?
It was very difficult to choose my favorite kit but I can’t wait for Christmas so today my favorite is Home for Christmas.
Thanks, Joy, for all the great inspiration; you’re site is one of my favorites.

  22. Wow, these Digi pages are Awesome. Love, Love, Love Them All. This would make scrapbooking sooo much easier. Smooches… Felicia
