Make Cuttlebug Boo to You Halloween Embellishments

That cute wet/dry embossed embellishment is fast & easy to make!

This is so much fun to make and it’s not too difficult either!

Here’s How You Make It:

  1. Ink the inside top of a Cuttlebug folder with water based ink.
  2. Put your cardstock in the folder and run it through an embossing machine (like Cuttlebug or Big Shot).
  3. While the ink is still wet, cover your embossed image with embossing powder and heat with a heat tool (like the one above).
  4. You can use the finished image any way you’d like, but I cut mine out with a 1 – 1/4″ punch.  I’m going to use them on a card! 😀

Here’s What I Used:

Cuttlebug Embossing Folder – Boo To You

Ink – Stampin Up Green Galore

Heat Tool

Embossing Powder – Sparkle

Punch – Ek Success 1-1/4-Inch Paper Shapers Circle Punch
(fits PERFECTLY!!)

Paper – Orange Cardstock from Stampin Up

Sizzix Big Shot Embossing Machine

You can then cover the little circle with Diamond Glaze for an even cooler result!

What fun!  A cool glossy embellishment!

    1. Thanks Gale! That’s exactly what I was trying to think of…the term “epoxy embellishments”. Thank you! That IS the look I was going for. I just cut out a maple leaf and embossed it in my Big Shot, then inked it. I added some Diamond Glaze to that and it looks so cool! I swear, I’m going crazy diamond glazing things. I’m impressed every time I use it! 😀

  1. I’m going to have try this. I’ve tried using ink with my embossing folders before and didn’t have much luck but those are really cool!!
