I love running this blog, creating products and making things.  It’s fun.  It’s also work.  For a while it took over most of my daily life.  I didn’t want to stop what I was doing but I did want to have time for the other things I love.  So what did I do?  I started respecting a daily quitting time.  I made myself take breaks.  I stopped doing things that I thought I should be doing and started doing things I wanted to be doing.  You know what happened?  I felt better.  More creative.  More alive.  Then I started realizing some things.  I had only been taking care of a few aspects of myself.   Family has always been a priority but what about me?  I couldn’t remember the last time I’d shopped for myself.  So, I started looking at my wardrobe to make some shopping plans.  That’s when I realized that I was really in denial about my health and fitness.  I had put on a lot of weight in the last year.  I kept ignoring it and stuffing myself into my stretchy jeans.  I kept tugging at my shirts to stretch them out.  You see where I’m going with this, right?  Nothing I had really fit.  When I went to buy a few new things, I felt awful.  I moved up several sizes, even my shoes felt tight.  I sulked.  I whined.  I felt sorry for myself.  Then, I got over it.  I was ready to embrace the new larger sized me until I realized that I was also breathless walking up the stairs.  What HAD I done to myself?!  I actually love to hike but started realizing that I haven’t done that for a while and that I’d been getting out of shape for quite some time.  Remember when I took this steep walk in 2012 and had to keep sitting on benches and resting?  No, that wasn’t a clue to me back then to get into shape.  What’s different now?  Now, I realize it.  I’m a big believer that when you know better you have a responsibility to do better.  So, that’s what I’m doing.  I’m creating a more balanced lifestyle so I can do the things I love, like hike.  Next week, I’ll start meeting with a personal trainer.  I’m also stocking my fridge with lots of Nestle products like Lean Cuisine so I can eat something fast and still stay on track with my balanced lifestyle plan.

I’ve never been one to eat turkey sausage.  Then I ate this.  I’m buying more.  They’re awesome.  True story.

Do you add CoffeeMate to your coffee?  I usually drink mine black but this CoffeeMate Sugar Free French Vanilla is a great option for some added flavor without the added sugar!

Chocolate?  Yes, please.  Acknowledging the fact that I will want chocolate sometimes and having this Skinny Cow option on hand will work well for me.  Plus, it tastes great!

I am so excited about the Lean Cuisine Wrap Additions!  Have you tried these?  You should.  It’s so cool.  You cook the packet in the microwave steam side up, warm the sauce packet in a cup of warm water (or the lazy way I did which was by hand and then putting the hot veggie chicken mix on it) and simply add them to a tortilla  you provide.  So easy!  So delicious!  This one is the Lean Cuisine Wrap Additions Creamy Balsamic Chicken and I will be buying it again RIGHT AWAY.  I love it!

I shared!  I made this one day when my husband was working from home.  I ate the Lean Cuisine Macaroni and Cheese and he ate the Lean Cuisine Sesame Chicken.  He loves the Sesame Chicken.  It smelled great!  Just look at that mac and cheese.  Yep.  It was as good as it looks.

I picked up all these things in Walmart.  This time I took my sons and husband with me after we ran some other errands.  I’m so glad I did because the boys were able to give some input on things they needed for the coming school week.  Why don’t they mention these things until they’re asked?  One of the mysteries of life.  LOL!  At least we were at Walmart where we could pick everything up at once.  Whew!

Don’t miss out on this cool deal that’s going on at Walmart!  Try any 10 LEAN CUISINE® entrees for ten days and if you don’t believe you feel great after 10 days, we’ll refund the cost of your 10 days of entrees, up to $25.00, plus any sales tax thereon.  That rocks.  Go here for more info.

I shared again!  My youngest son and I split these.  I like that I can have a quick hot pretzel snack without overdoing it with a giant pretzel.  Bread is my weakness, pretzels are my super weakness.  These Lean Cuisine Three Cheese and Spinach Stuffed Pretzels give me some balance.

I  hope you’ll go give some of these yummy things a try!  I will definitely be adding them to my shopping cart tomorrow when I stock up for the coming week.  I wish all of you the very best if you’re getting back on track like I am.  We can do it!
