Your Wish Can Help Others – UPS Wishes Delivered

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS. All opinions are 100% mine.

Our family has a tradition that I truly love.  One morning in December after school has let out for the holidays, my husband and I lay out a breakfast buffet in our bedroom.  We, plus our three kids, gather in there to eat and watch the 1951 black and white version of A Christmas Carol.  We all pretend that we’re in a fancy hotel suite and no one can leave the room without faux calling down for room service and then slipping quietly out.  I love that we’ve kept that up for the past ten years.  Every year that we watch the movie I’m struck by the line said to Scrooge that it is at this time of the year that “want is most keenly felt and abundance rejoices.”  Want is most keenly felt.

If you’re as moved by those words as I am then you probably have some ideas for things you can do or would like to do to help others, especially during the holiday season.  What if just making your wish could help others?  It can.  UPS will donate $1 to help charity for every wish shared!  Help charity by sharing your wish with UPS?  Easy.  #WishesDelivered

Between November 10, 2014 – December 31, 2014 submit a wish to UPS.

Simply, post your wish to Twitter or Instagram with the campaign hashtag #WishesDelivered and it will automatically be submitted. Another option is to go directly to the #WishesDelivered site and manually submit there.

Make a wish for someone else. Your wish should be selfless and meaningful and made on behalf of another person. Be creative, like…don’t ask for the new iPhone 6. 😉

UPS will make a $1 donation to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) for every wish submitted, up to $100K total donation.  In simply sharing your wish, you’ll help raise money for charity!

I’ll share my wish with you in an upcoming post.  In the meantime, I want to know what you wished!  Share a link to your wish with me in a blog comment.  I can’t wait to read them!
