Cricut Lite Billionaire Mustache & Glasses Party

Last week I bought the Cricut Lite Billionaire Cartridge after deciding that it had great possibilities for fun.  I was so inspired by it that I used it the very next morning, which happened to be the 4th of July!  I made these fun mustaches and glasses hoping that people would pose with them for photos.  They did!  You’ll see some of the photos at the bottom.

The Cricut Lite Billionaire cartridge has a whole font on it but it also has these fun mustaches and glasses.  I used my Gypsy to alter the handlebar mustache so I could have a shorter, wider handlebar choice to go with the longer one.  I cut the mustaches at approximately 3″.

I also used my Gypsy to help me quickly make multiples of the mustaches and glasses.  The Gypsy is great for helping you position things so you don’t waste paper.  It’s also perfect for changing the widths and lengths of different fonts and images.  I love my Gypsy!

My poor husband.  He should just give up on ever having any skewers for grilling.  I take them for craft projects all the time.  I buy more, put them back in the kitchen drawer, but then I take them again. 😛

I’m making these mustache and glasses masks easier to hold by hot gluing them to the Bamboo Skewers. I cut these skewers in half so they wouldn’t be too long.  I wanted to make masks, not weapons. LOL!!

Yes, you HAVE seen this photo before!  I cut, taped and stuck these pieces of festive paper together to create God Bless America sign and to decorate the vase below.

YAY!  Lots of fun to go around AND I reused a clear vase as a (quickly decorated) festive holder.

Here are a few of the many photos that were taken.

BTW, everyone is soaked because all the men shot off fireworks even though it was raining.  Men!  LOL! 😉

My Sweet & Funny Daughter

She’s making her “distinguished man” face.  LOL!

My Youngest Nephew

My In-Laws

This project was a huge hit with everyone.  YAY!  I suggest putting these out for some fun photos.  Everyone wanted to try them and I had no trouble at all getting people to pose for the camera.  Everybody was laughing at themselves and each other and really hamming it up.  Of course, our family and friends are all pretty much hams anyway, so hilarity often ensues.

GO MAKE A MUSTACHE!
