Celebrate the Little Things in a Sweet Way

You know how sometimes you want to share a special treat or make a big deal out of something small? I like to celebrate small everyday things. For example, tonight I’m just glad that we get to sit around as a family and watch Sharknado 3. It’s ridiculous and silly but it’s OUR time and that’s special in and of itself. While my daughter is home from college for the summer we spend at least one night a week holed up in the master bedroom watching old movies together. We eat dinner in there like we’re the only two people in the world. We kick back in two recliners and just laugh and have a good time. You know, girl time! That’s why we were particularly happy to hear about Duncan Hines new Perfect Size cakes. They’re perfect for the two of us to share!

Duncan Hines new line of Perfect Size cakes allows you to make just the right size cake for 2 to 4 people. They taste great and are perfectly sized for a few people when a full size cake is just too much. Basically, it’s the perfect-sized cake for two, not ten.

Each kit comes with a cake mix, frosting mix, and a disposable 6-inch round pan made just for the cake. How easy is that? Um, so easy. Having no pan to clean up is a big bonus too.

The directions are simple. When you’ve got your batter mixed up you can pour it into the included pan and bake away! Duncan Hines Perfect Size cake also includes a frosting that you prepare.

You really can’t mess this up. Bake. Cool. Press. This is where I removed the cake (so easily) from the pan.

Wondering why my batter went from pink to brown? I made two cakes! Not only are they perfect for just a few people, they’re also a great way to offer a variety of cakes without having way too much.
