I was so thrilled with the newest product line from Sizzix that I saw this week at CHA. It’s the Vintaj collection. Basically, it’s a line of metal that is used for embossing. It works with various embossing dies that are rolled through an embossing machine. Super Daughter and I got to emboss and sand some pieces and we completely fell in love with the finished product. After you sand them you can also color them using alcohol inks. AWESOME! You don’t have to have this special Sizzix Big Kick machine if you already have a Big Kick/Big Shot/Tim Holtz Vagabond, etc., but this Vintaj Big Kick sure is pretty, isn’t it?
I’ll show you what we made after we get home. We’re still on the road coming home from the show. Road Trip!!
I have been going back and forth, trying to decide if I really NEED a tool like this or if it is just that I WANT one. Know what I mean, Jellybean?? Anywho, right now I am seeing the Cuddlebug and/or Big Shot on sale for $59, so I was wondering what your thoughts are. Do you have both? Are they the same? Is this Big Kick Vantaj the same size and does it do the same thing? Just wondering….Oh, Super Joy who knows and does all. Thanks for any info!
I like the design of the new Sizzix die machine…. the colors are fabulous! I just spray painted my cuttlebug to a beautiful navy blue color! 🙂
Looking forward to seeing the new dies come out! Thanks for showing this! 🙂

Oooh, I can’t wait to play with the metal! I have slowly been accumulating some alcohol inks just so I can play with fun materials like metal! Now I hope it will work wonderful with a cuttlebug 🙂
