Sizzix Eclips Die Cutting Machine – My 1st Impressions VIDEO

This post was written in 2012. There have been many machines since then! I’m still a Cricut & Silhouette fan when it comes to electronic cutting. 😀

I really enjoy trying new die cut machines.  They are my true crafty passion!  This is a video of my first experience and impression of the Sizzix Eclips machine.  I hope it helps you on your path to decide which machine is right for you.  I’ve tried all of the Cricut’s, the Silhouette SD, the Silhouette Cameo, eCraft, Gazelle, the KNK Zing and the Sizzix Eclips.  My favorites so far?  The Silhouette Cameo, Sizzix Eclips, KNK Zing and (out of all the Cricut’s) the Cricut Expression 2.  If you click on each of those machines you’ll see posts I’ve made with them.

  1. Hi Joy, Awesome video! I do love the ideal of the hot swap. I think you got some really clean cuts with the letters and that’s a biggie for me. My Cricut doesn’t always give this clean of a cut and that’s what i like. I think you right when you said your flower would have had a clean cut if you changed the setting. Over this seem to be a cool machine. TFS AJ~

WOW! Another Machine….. How in the heck do you keep getting these machines! LOL I like the hand held pad for it… that’s really neat and so is the hot swapping… It looks pretty cool and I look forward to learning more about it from you…. I also agree some of the issues are human error…. When we get new machines it takes some time to get use to their settings and adjustments as each machine is different…. 🙂 I’m still learning my Silhouette and having fun with that… It really is different than my Cricut Machines… Thanks for the first look at this machine…
