Valentine Fortune Teller by Amanda
Today I’m posting a video and fun project created by Joy’s Life Design Team member, Amanda. Do you remember making these in grade school? (Or to impress your own children who hadn’t seen them yet? LOL!) I recently saw the “fortune teller” creation used in a magazine to hold candy! You would just sit it upright like a little bowl. You could put candy hearts in it. Pretty cute and fun! Well, let’s hear what Amanda had to say:

OMG Joy I remember making these in middle school. My girlfriends and I would keep picking numbers until we got the answer we wanted, lol.
We used to have so much fun with these!! This one is very stylish!! AHH!! The memories!

This brings back many memories. I think I’ll go make one right now for my (adult) daughter and mail it as a fun happy. She will love it!

I just taught a group of 4th graders (last week) how to make these when I was substituting. How fun!

I love the paper she used; it’s very pretty and fun. I remember making them decades ago out of notebook paper at school. I don’t even remember how to fold them anymore.
