Tim Holtz – Embossing Folders!!

Oh, my goodness!!  Just when I thought it was safe to assume I had enough embossing folders for a while, Sizzix comes out with a Tim Holtz signature line!!  Woo hoo!  They are still in pre-order status, so we’ll have to be patient.  Here, I took this little screen shot for you.  You can zip over to Oh My Crafts.com and check out the rest, but I think this one is my favorite.  Are you excited about these?

These are going to be great!!

Oh Oh. I’m in trouble! I love these new folder’s from Tim Holtz.
My mind is already going a mile a minute on how I can use these.
Has anybody every used they’re embossing folder’s to make wallpaper for a doll house? it turns out cute.
With these two, I see a log cabin & fireplace made from them.

    Joy, you are not helping!
I just had to explain why I spent $130 on the Cricut site, (I bought the Cuttlebug bundle) And spent another $100 at Michael’s (Gotta have adhesives and another Cricut Cart) to my hubby! (LOVE YOU BABE!)
I had just finished explaining that I was pretty much set for awhile. Guess I spoke too soon!! Crafting is going to cause 1 of 2 things…My husband’s 2nd job -or- my divorce!!

    1. Mother_Monkee…still laughing over your comment. See, what you do is lead with all the things you didn’t buy, then the rest of the haul sounds somewhat like a bargain. 😀 It’s possible that might not work, LOL!

Wow, I love embossing folders. I just love making cards with them. I like these cause there kinda mascueline looking.

  4. I’m waiting anxiously for these to come out. Tim is really not my style but some of these folders will work for anything.

    1. Gale, I agree! These folders have much wider usability and appeal than some of his more specific styles. I’ve GOT TO HAVE the wood grain one!!! LOVE IT!

  5. I am new to the cricut world. I just got mine for christmas and since I work full time I am just now getting around to purchasing my supplies. I came across your website while doing a search on “how to” and “ideas” on the cricut expression which is the one have. I’v added your website to my favorites so that I can refer to it for some of the great ideas you have posted. Thanks a Bunch!

    1. Hi Bren! I think you’re going to really enjoy your Cricut Expession. 😀 Thank you for adding me to your favorites!! Welcome!

  6. Joy, I love you and your ideas, but man, I got to have more and more and love the bricks and wood grain…….I see them as back grounds for cards for men, Or imagine the simple wood grain with a butterfly
the bricks with a bumble bee……..we all have seen them hover around a brick pile I am trying very hard to limit myself to 30 a month for crafts…….well, maybe 30 at several different craft sites, there I said it, I am addicted.

    1. Hilarious Marlene!! Also, I totally agree with you about all the cool things that could be made for men from those more masculine embossing folders. Fun!!

Even though I might sound like a little lost ninny … all of these different folders CAN be used with the Cuttlebug … right?

(I’ve only had my little green embossing machine about a week … still very unsure about what it can/can’t do)

  8. wow this looks like it will be great to have

  9. Hi CuddlyBunny,
Yes, these folders should be about the same (or exactly the same) size as the Cuttlebug folders. So, you shouldn’t have any trouble using them. Congrats on your new little Cuttlebug!! Embossing is so much fun!

THANK YOU for responding (sorry I hadn’t been back yet).

I’m so relieved to know that these are interchangeable and I DO love embossing!

    Have a great day!

    1. You’re welcome! 🙂 I’m really looking forward to these coming out! 😀
