Super & Everyday Hero Blog Hop – Wonder Woman Iron On Bag

Hey friends!  Welcome to the Super & Everyday Hero Blog Hop!  Don’t miss the giveaway and the creative projects from the talented ladies at this end of this post.  BTW, like that blog hop badge?  I used Lettering Delights Superhero Graphic Set and Paper pack to make it.  I love those files!

Isn’t this Wonder Woman bag cool?  I love WW and you’re going to love how simple it is to make!

Just Print, Cut & Iron!

I found the Wonder Woman image on the Silhouette site and printed it directly onto Avery Printable Fabric for Inkjet Printers.  You print on the matte side and iron directly on to that side too.

I was going to cut the images out using the Silhouette Cameo, but I accidently flipped the image and then couldn’t get everything to line up right, so I cut it out by hand.  It was easy!

Tiny Ironing Board, Regular Sized Iron

I’m using Cotton Drawstring Muslin Bags to iron WW on.  I bought an inexpensive iron that I use just for my craft projects.  In case I accidently melt something I shouldn’t, I don’t want it sticking to the family’s clothes.  LOL!  I also bought that tiny ironing board for crafting use.  I hang it on the back of a door in my craft room.  It’s small enough to be out of the way but still be handy.  YAY to that!

I’m about to iron Wonder Woman down.  Simply iron the matte side that you printed on.  The sticky side is on the back.

Wonder Woman can take the heat, don’t worry!

My iron is on the cotton setting.

Using Joy’s Life “My Hero” Stamp Set

Yes!  You CAN stamp on cotton muslin bags.  It’s easy!  Here’s a video where I show you how!  I’m using the Joy’s Life “My Hero” stamp set on this bag.

The printed iron-on is attached, the bag is stamped and full of yummy chocolate.  Pretty and perfect for a quick gift or party!

What a super cool idea. I can think of several occassions where this project would be perfect. Thank you for sharing.  As for superheros – I have many of them surrounding me from a dad who served his country and came back from war with health issues to my husband who’s always my cheerleader, to a friend fighting cancer who has the best spirit and attitude you have ever seen to my oldest daughter who is a real go getter that works for what she wants to a my parents in law that foster special needs children and are beginning to adopt several of them. Everywhere I look I am surrounded by every day super heros and I am very blessed indeed.

Have a Super Day!

  3. wowwwwww!!! What an awesome WonderWoman bag. I did not know that you can print directly on fabric. TFS!

My fav superhero would be Wonder Woman too! Coz she’s hot , sexy and wonderfully strong!

  4. Scrappy Scrappy, I just love how easy it is to print directly on this fabric! It didn’t take long at all. YAY!

  5. I love printable fabric, because I L-O-V-E to sew. It is my ‘first love’ (craftwise). My super hero is Mighty Mouse. I grew up watching him and love to sing his theme song (which my daughter utterly hates to hear). I have two (2)…yes 2… small ironing boards that I purchased at thrift stores for a couple of dollars. One is about the size of yours. The other is about 1/3 the size of that one. Love the bag you made. I’d love to be a winner of this giveaway. I’ve been wanting to start a family tree…print off the pictures of members of my family and then applique them to a larger piece of material for a wall hanging.

Congrats to whoever wins…but I hope it’s me.

Now on to the rest of the blog hop.

    1. Rita,

And I have to say, any woman who actually irons her family’s clothes, is a HERO to me!! LOL!!! I think the last time I took out the iron was for ironing my daughter’s Perler beads project! LOL!! And I guess I should have a separate iron for that, eh??

    Have a fabulous weekend!

    Love your blog.
    thanks again.

  30. Do you still this file? I have looked all over the Silhouette library and cannot find it. Any suggestions? Perhaps it was licensing issue. Thank you!

    1. Hi Pat,
I looked for it too and can’t find it! I bet you’re right about the licensing. Maybe they just had it for a certain amount of time. When it was on there it was listed under DC Comics. I hope they bring it back!
