How to Make a Bloody Candle for Halloween

Need some Halloween decor fast?  This is for you!

Easy and Inexpensive Decor = YAY!

This quick craft is as easy as store bought pie, which is good.  However, the result is a perfect, creepy addition to a simple bowl of candy or mantel, which is GREAT!

Only THREE supplies needed!

Here’s what ‘cha need: Black candle, red candle, matches or lighter.

A drip here, a drop there. It’s very simple.

Light your candle.  Hold it to the side so the wax begins to drip.  Drip the red wax onto your black candle.  You’re done when you think it looks awesome! 😉  I used the Ranger Inkssentials Craft Sheet to keep the wax off my table.  I also used it to do all this Mod Podge”ing” and painting.  It cleans up easily and does an excellent job protecting your work surface.  If you don’t have one, you should get one.  Just sayin’.

Top of the creepy candle to ya!

This is a quick, fun project that sets a creepy mood instantly.  Don’t have time to run to the craft store?  Well, when you’re in the grocery store check the aisle where they have candles you might be in luck!
