Gypsy designed Wicked Witch Card Cricut & Cricut Lite cartridge

The Gypsy helped me create this card!

I made this card by welding two scalloped circles from the Cricut Lite Sugar & Spice cartridge.  I like the way this card turned out.  In this photo the Stickles I applied aren’t dry yet.  I got the witch from the A Child’s Year cartridge.  That cart is so interesting.  It has a lot of uses.  I used it last year to make this Thanksgiving invitation.  Wicked comes from the Indie Art cartridge.  Some of my Joy’s Life friends asked to see the Indie Art cart being used.  It has some skulls on it, but I’ve done enough skulls lately so I used “Wicked” instead.

If you look at the tabs on the different layers of my Gypsy you can see that I’ve labeled each one.  Sometimes I label by color, sometimes I name them by the image they contain.  Here I used color (except for moon) because I wanted to remind myself to use those paper colors for everything in that layer.

The ATG gun is my BFF in these situations.  I used zip dry when I glued down the “wicked” sentiment.

This Signo uni-ball pen is the best white pen I’ve used.  The funny thing is that I own 3 of them because I thought I didn’t own one already.  How did I do that 2 times?!  LOL!  Goes to show you I should use it more often.  Then I’ll remember I own it. 😉

The orange paper is by Stampin Up.  It’s reversible…which I LOVE.  “Wicked” and the background are both from the same sheet of paper.  So cool!  The moon is Amercian Crafts foil paper and the black is some new American Crafts black cardstock I bought.  It’s the first time (besides when I worked with Cricut Dan at some craft Expos) that I’ve used this cardstock in my own crafting.  I really like it!

Pop Dots are lifting up the moon and witches broom.  I’m happy that this card can stand up on its own.

I hope you like this card! 😀

I really like how you welded two scalloped circles together to create a card. I’m definitely going to be trying that. I also found the tip on naming the different layers very useful. I just got my gypsy a couple days ago and hadn’t thought of any ways to organize projects yet- and now I don’t have, you did the thinking for me! 😉 Thanks for another inspiring and helpful post!

Still debating on the Gypsy because of the small screen and now there is one site that is giving ya 11 carts with the Gypsy if you order by the 31st!! What to do???? What to do??? I wish Provocraft/Walmart would drop the prices on their cartridges.

As usual you’ve done another fine example of Halloween decorating!!!

Cute card Joy. I also “label” all of my layers on my gypsy. Most often I design at one time and then cut at a different time so I like to label my layers by color so I can remember what I was even thinking when I created it – lol!
