How pretty are these granola and yogurt dipped frozen apple slices? So pretty that I thought they’d be lovely on a formal table or as an anytime snack. The best thing about them is the taste…no wait…it’s the easy assemble…no it’s the fact that they only use 3 ingredients! Ok, there are just so many things going for them that it’s hard to pick one best thing. No. Wait. I’ve got it. The best thing is that we have plenty of yogurt, apples and Bear Naked’s Sea Salt Caramel Apple Granola, so I can make more. I’m telling you, you’re going to want to make more.
Honestly, I could have just written Bear Naked’s Sea Salt Caramel Apple Granola and that would have been enough to sound intriguing and delicious. I know because I was at BJ’s Wholesale last weekend and I couldn’t find it, so I asked one of the ladies that worked there. She said she didn’t know where it was but she was going to buy some if they had it. LOL! Then she helped me find it. YAY!
It was on a pallet next to the Bakery. It came with three bags, which is awesome because we’ve already used most of one. I’m telling you, this new fall flavor from Bear Naked is good! It’s sweet and savory. It’s perfect for a ton of recipes and a terrific choice for the fall. I mean what could be better? It has tangy apple, caramel sweetness and a dash of sea salt. It makes me think of falling leaves, crisp air and happy things.
I’ve been shopping at BJ’s Wholesale since one opened here. It’s one of my very favorite places to shop. One of the things I love about BJ’s Wholesale is the money I save there. They always have great coupons and I definitely use them. I used BJ’s an in-club coupon (located at the front of the store) for Bear Naked for an additional $2 off.
A real quick tip from me…check out the Ibotta app. You can save another $2 off Bear Naked Sea Salt Caramel Apple (retail of $8.99) if you use it. The app concept is pretty cool. You unlock rebates for stores before you go shopping. Next, you buy the products in the store or online. Your purchase is verified within 5 days and cash is deposited into your Paypal, Venmo or a gift card within two weeks. The Ibotta phone app has all the major grocery retailers. You just visit a specific retailer’s page to see the different deals you can get. All that equals more savings! Two thumbs up to saving money!
Granola & Yogurt Dipped Frozen Apple Slices
This recipe is simple. There are 3 ingredients.
Bear Naked’s Sea Salt Caramel Apple Granola
First, slice you apples. Place the apple slices onto a freezer safe tray covered in parchment paper or aluminum foil. (I use the BJ’s Wholesale brand aluminum foil. It’s awesome!) *TIP: Let the slices freeze for about 15 minutes. This helps the yogurt adhere to your apple! That’s a great trick that my husband taught me. I didn’t know of a way to get things to stick to an apple slice. Every time I tried it things just slid off. Freeze them first. He’s a genius! That’s his man hand in the photo above and he made all of these!
Dip your frozen apple slices into the yogurt and then roll them in the granola. Now put them back in the freezer until you’re ready to serve them. They’re so good!
These granola and yogurt dipped frozen apple slices are pretty, delicious, easy and a great snack!
