Floral Mother’s Day Card – Glue Dots Design Team Post

Mother’s Day is soon and I’m already ready with a card, for a change…LOL!

If you need a card, I think you might really enjoy making this one.  It was easy to make and is pretty enough for a special occasion.  I’m using the 3D flower card from SVGCuts Cards for Moms file.

I cut out the layers of the card using my Silhouette Cameo.  These are the layers that make up the flower.

If you need any help with your Cameo, check out these tutorials.

This is it!  This makes the whole card.  Woo hoo!  Easy!  I’m using the Echo Park Sweet Girl paper.

I stamped this sweet saying using the Joy’s Life “Tag You’re It Two” stamp set and VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Craft Glue Dots® helped me attach the different layers of the card.

Bottle Caps, how I love you.

This is my FAVORITE PART!  I flattened a bottle cap in my Cuttlebug, added a sticker and covered it with a 1″ Circle Epoxy Sticker.  This bottle cap became the center of my flower.  Want to see bottle cap smashing in action?  Check out this video I made where I show the whole process.

I attached the bottle cap to the card using Glue Dots Pop Up Dots®.  They’re really strong.

The Cards for Moms file even comes with an envelope!  The paper I used for the envelope is from my scrap stash.

I wrote this post while participating on the Glue Dots Design Team.

Have a happy weekend!
